Craft Supply Swap

R & B Used Books, Grand Blanc, MI
https://www.facebook.com/events/884468795054176
From the Facebook event page, hosted by Flint Handmade:

We're hosting THREE Craft Supply Swaps at R&B Used Books in Grand Blanc in 2018! The events will be held on the following Saturdays from 11am-1pm: February 24, June 2 and October 27.

How the Craft Supply Swaps Work:

Throughout the year, gather up clean craft supplies in good condition that you no longer use or want. Hold on to these supplies until the Swap.

On the day of the Swap, Swappers are encouraged to make a donation of $3-$5 to Flint Handmade in support of our mission to provide opportunities for creative expression and artisitic entrepreneurship. Donations of $10 include a limited edition Flint Handmade tote bag!

We have tables with labeled bins for every craft supply category (e.g. yarn, fabric, patterns, etc.). If you bring supplies to Swap, Flint Handmade volunteers will sort your items onto the appropriate tables.

You may then take as much or as little as you like whether you brought supplies to swap or not. Remember to bring your own tote bags.

When the Swap ends, our volunteers will pack up any remaining supplies and donate them to local charities. If you know of any charities, community groups, etc. that are in need of craft supplies please have someone come to the swap in the last 30 minutes of the event and they will be welcome to take any remaining swap items.

If you would like to volunteer at the Swap, please keep an eye out for our calls for volunteers in our community Facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/644063315716512/

Supplies may include, but are not limited to fabric, thread, ribbon, sewing notions, buttons, patterns, crafting books, scrapbook supplies, adhesives, painting supplies, embroidery hoops & floss, yarn, crochet hooks, knitting needles, beads and beading supplies.
